Commission on Narcotic Drugs (2018)

Exhibition Design

Given the gravity of the issue of narcotic drug abuse, we designed a straightforward, clean and organised exhibition panel to communicate Singapore’s drug situation to an international, ministerial audience.

As part of the 61st session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs, the Advocacy Office against Drugs and Crime participated in a showcase exhibition in Vienna. Given the gravity of the issue of narcotic drug abuse, we designed a straightforward, clean and organised exhibition panel to communicate the statistics and initiatives of Singapore’s drug situation to an international, ministerial audience. The colour palette was limited to deep blues, keeping the palette neutral and formal, allowing us to present the content of the exhibition in an objective tone of voice. Accents of yellow and warm colours were subsequently introduced to pick up the mood of the otherwise somber subject matter, paired with occasional isometric illustrations and minimal infographics to balance the information-heavy exhibit.
