Building on the idea of “dreams” and the modern hi-tech displays, the environmental graphics sought to create a “theme park” in the gallery, offering novel sights in the wall and floor graphics, navigational signage, display panels, and some of the interactive media and infographics.
The new gallery comprised different thematic zones inspired by the overarching theme of “journey through a dream”. Building on the idea of “dreams” and the modern hi-tech displays, the environmental graphics sought to create a “theme park” in the gallery, offering novel sights in the wall and floor graphics, navigational signage, display panels, and some of the interactive media and infographics.
The graphics also include some of the gallery’s memorable highlights, including the travelling display of “luggage boxes” greeting guests at the entrance, the intriguing peepholes at the Dream Journal, the long, circular trivia-filled tabletop graphics spanning more than 10 metres, and the Numeric Sphere at the Reservoir of Dreams, among others.
